Love Mother Earth's taproom. Super chill place in Downtown Vista, open even when the brewery is closed. Warehouse-y, open space feel to it with interesting framed vinyl records on the wall and high tables and barrels for seating/holding drinks. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable about all the beers that they have. And yes, some great beers are served here....my favorites being Kismet IPA and Cali Creamin' which are somewhat of their staples. On the recent visit I also tried RHR, IRA, Hop Sesn, and Sweet Spot, since these were not on tap last September when we went there last time. All four were good but I still like the two aforementioned staple brews the best. They also have standard brewery merchandise and beer to take home in cans and bottles in the fridge. Also, there is this somewhat of a new concept that I've seen only in one brewery in Nor Cal call called crowler. It is not an actual glass but a can, hence crowl not growl. They will fill it with 32oz of their fresh beer and for air travelers this is a viable option as it is much easier to prevent breakage... Mother Earth does not have any food, but there is a phone booth at the very end with multiple take out menus you can grab and order and have it delivered to the taproom. The best option (not that I tried others LOL) is URBN pizza across the street. Their pizza is no joke and if you get large, the chances are it won't fit on the table. The pizza looks, smells, and tastes so good that we had other guests asking us where to get it from. So 5 stars goes not only for Mother Earth but them as well. With all the breweries in town, Vista is a destination for any serious beer connoisseur. When I come next time, I will surely visit Mother Earth again as I really like the concept and the vibe, Keep up the great job!
